Spent the day in the studio today but didn't work on any rings. I ended up punching out vertical lines from an old Dwell magazine. I kinda like it.

Ring a Day 33/365, 02.02.10

Eclipse Ring

Another scrap ring. This is the first time I kind of cheated. Technically, I made this ring yesterday. Oops! It is made of the left over silver from my sequins series, for which I punch out the parts using the best tool ever... The Roper Whitney Jr. handpunch!

Ring a Day 32/365, 02.01.10

 

Taper Ring 

This ring was inspired by the Homage to Tone Vigeland ring I did the other day. It isn't quite what I was going for so you may see this idea reprised with a different execution if I can get it to work. 

  Sterling silver, patina.
